Ezra Tellington reviewed The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (Wayfarers, #1)
Comforting, character-driven SF
5 stars
As other Becky Chambers books (I've read the Monk and Robot series and To Be Taught, If Fortunate), this book is on the more contemplative side of science-fiction, focused on introspection and interpersonal relationships. I'd say it's more action-packed than the others I've read but it retains the comforting aspect that I loved (which does not mean everything always goes smoothly for the characters!). I'm glad there are other books in the series.
